Living in Mission
Mission takes its name from La Lomita Chapel, built in 1865. When the city was founded in 1908, it was named in the chapel's honor. Mission grew with the citrus industry, and today offers historic neighborhoods, newer homes and the planned community of Sharyland Plantation.
